How fast can you embed engineers in our team?+
Two weeks is the typical timeline from brief to productive in your standups. We can usually shortlist matches in 2–3 days, run technical interviews with you the following week, and have the chosen engineer onboarded into your repos, tooling, and rituals by the end of week two. For urgent gaps we've moved faster — just say so up front.
What's the difference between staff augmentation and hiring an agency?+
An agency owns the project and delivers an outcome; you describe what you want, they go away and ship it. Staff augmentation embeds engineers into your team — they work on your sprint, your code review, your standup, with your engineering leadership in command. You don't outsource the outcome; you extend the team. Both are valid; staff aug is the right call when you want the work owned in-house, not handed back.
What seniority do your engineers have?+
Senior only — typically 7+ years of professional experience, with a body of shipped production work. No junior bench, no "senior" mislabelled middle-weights. The same calibre of engineer who builds our own products (including Lexa, LuxeLocker, ShiftERP and others). We turn down engagements where senior isn't actually what's needed.
Do they work in our timezone?+
Yes — we match on time-zone overlap as a first-class criterion. Most engagements have full UK / EU overlap (4+ hours minimum); for clients further afield we set up a clear async rhythm with sufficient overlap for standups, pairing, and code review. We won't propose an engineer whose hours don't actually fit how your team works.
What does staff augmentation cost?+

Do you sign NDAs and IP agreements?+
Yes — standard practice. Mutual NDA before any detailed brief, then a clean IP assignment in the engagement contract: everything our embedded engineer writes is yours, in your repos, under your accounts. No background IP claims, no clawbacks, no lock-in.
